When one of the world’s largest retailers – with thousands of stores and a supplier network of over 20,000 – needed to drive significant private label growth, they turned to Opal BPM. Setting the standard

With ambitious international revenue targets in place, our client sought significant growth of their private label portfolio in the US and beyond. However, in-house systems – from manual processes to legacy technology – were holding back the controlled expansion of an effective private label program.

Seeking a single, standardized view of their vast supplier base and portfolio of products, the retailer then intended to leverage that knowledge across multiple regions and harness greater value from data. Able to quickly identify, audit and approve suppliers, the system enables more effective communication, with dedicated helpdesk support to ensure smooth on-boarding, align processes and maintain positive collaboration.

To enhance compliance, the system is also used to receive and agree product specifications, approve artwork, make legal checks and ensure safe, on-time launch, in line with regulatory and brand standards.
